Accelerant Networks is a fabless semiconductor company delivering intelligent silicon transceivers that unlock new levels of bandwidth from low-cost interconnects. Acquired by Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS) in February 2004.

Growthink ran an auction process for the sale of the semiconductor company. Through Growthink's efforts, Accelerant was sold to Synopsis for an eight-figure sum in February 2004.

Growthink assisted Deutsche Bank in the evaluation of divestiture and/or third party product sales options for the Deutsche Bank global transaction settlement technology platform. Based on Growthink's analysis and recommendations, Deutsche Bank secured a third party client for the settlement platform, resulting in revenues to the bank in excess of $50 million annually.

Growthink conducted feasibility study for the Salvation Army to evaluate the business opportunity of a U.S.-Mexican border retail center where bulk or highly discounted items transported from other Southern California Salvation Army locations would be sold.

 
Thrombovision

ThromboVision, Inc. provides biomedical research and development services. It develops diagnostic solutions for healthcare practitioners for anti-platelet therapy and cardiovascular risk assessment and modification. The company’s product, ThromboGuide (T-Guide), provides platelet aggregation measuring services and identifies and monitors the function of platelets and how they are affected by anti-platelet drugs, is in the late-stage development. ThromboVision is based in Houston, Texas.

In September 2007, Thrombovision completed a $4 million Series A convertible preferred stock financing. Growthink advised on the investor promotion process and introduced Thrombovision to private equity firm National Healthcare Services, who led the round.
