Today we continue with the 10 commandments for raising money. 

RULE #5: You must tell people about your business ideas if you want them to fund you. To protect your ideas from being stolen, you need to 1) stage the divulgence of your IP and 2) focus on its benefits, markets, and applications.

RULE #6: You must have a business plan. And, you must realize your business plan is first and foremost a marketing document; that is, it markets your company to investors and lenders. It cannot be boring. And it must cover the 10 key business plan areas.
