11/19/2021 Tip: High Concept and PTS Pitches

Today’s Quote

“Customers, I realized, don’t care about functions or specific activities that occur within our organization. The end game is whether they are getting the right product at the right time at a competitive price.”
~Max Guinn

Today’s Tip

Today we continue with the 10 commandments for raising money.

RULE #7: You must develop a clear, compelling pitch. Within 30-60 seconds, you must be able to explain to investors or lenders what your company is about and why you are unique. “High concept pitches” and “PTS (problem then solution) pitches” are most effective in accomplishing this.

RULE #8: Tapping your affinity network is the best way to find supporters, investors and Advisors for your company. Your affinity network is the group of people who have a natural interest in your venture.
