  • A good idea, product or service is the beginning, but investors and banks don’t invest in or lend to ideas. Rather, they are interested in Companies. Successful companies are able to answer all the big questions about their product or service and, articulate a clear value proposition to serve a sizeable and growing market. Successful companies are also able to present a compelling marketing plan, complete operations plan, reasonable financial projections, and a solid management team in a well laid out business plan.

  • Many of our clients can begin to answer the above questions verbally, but need to be prompted with well-thought out and careful questioning. We take the role of an investor in these discussions, asking all the tough questions and gauging the quality of a client’s responses and their ability to stand up to investor scrutiny. This allows us to begin to draft the business plan based on a client’s vision, but more importantly to identify the areas that need more work. Growthink can give advice to strengthen the Company’s overall strategy and can suggest appropriate ways to position the business so as to be attractive to potential investors.

  • Our process begins by conducting market research to validate the business opportunity; followed by developing a detailed 5 year financial model with all the necessary projections (typically an income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows) based on the market research data collected; then drafting a complete business plan conveying the market opportunity, financial drivers, service/product overview, management team strengths, marketing plan, operations and execution plan.

Biddees™ auctions prepaid cards issued by national retailers and leading financial service companies such as Amazon, Wal-Mart, Visa and MasterCard. The Company also auctions prepaid cards in categories of goods and services where consumers do not typically receive any discounts such as mobile phone services, sporting and concert tickets, travel, gasoline, groceries and restaurants. Growthink evaluated the company’s business model, developed a financing strategy and created an investor package to support that financing. Growthink worked directly with the company CEO and Board of Directors for three months to refine the business model and reposition the company’s story for investors. In early 2009 the company went public through a reverse merger, raised two additional rounds of private capital, and has since acquired a number of other wind turbine and renewable energy companies.
