Digital Cinema Implementation Partners (DCIP) is a joint venture owned by exhibition industry leaders AMC Entertainment Inc., Cinemark USA, INC., and Regal Entertainment Group, representing more than 14,000 movie screens across the U.S. and Canada. Growthink assisted in the development of the strategic business plan for the joint venture and shortly after, they closed a round of financing in the amount of $750 million.
Growthink developed growth business plan for Integreon, a business process outsourcing (BPO) firm. With plan, Integreon was successful in raising first round of venture capital. Since working with Growthink, Integreon has grown from 12 to 2,000 employees and is now one of the largest BPOs firms in the world.
Porsche Design Group is a majority-owned subsidiary of Porsche. The company’s activities are focused on the business areas of Porsche Design, Porsche Design Driver’s Selection and the Porsche Design Studio. Growthink was retained to design and draft a business plan to extend the Porsche unique male luxury brand positioning into the retail arena — specifically sunglasses, leather goods, golf, and electronic products. The business plan and findings were presented directly to the Porsche family, which fully backed it. The Porsche Design Group has since grown dramatically and now operates in a number of retail locations in the United States and worldwide.
RaiseCapital.com is the premiere online destination for entrepreneurs and small business to showcase their business ideas and capital needs directly to investors. Growthink helped develop the firm’s business plan and strategic offering memorandum.
Growthink developed the strategic business plan for XCOM, a Long Beach, CA-based high-technology start-up. XCOM develops radio frequency (RF) MEMS technology for improved signal routing. Growthink drafted the XCOM Wireless business plan and introduced XCOM to Ardesta Venture Capital of Ann Arbor, MI, with whom they completed their Series A financing round.
Fathead is the leading brand in sports and entertainment wall graphics with hundreds of officially licensed products. The Company’s product line-up includes Fathead Tradeables, Fathead Jr., Fathead Skins, Furniture for Fans and of course our “Real.Big®” Fathead, the officially licensed, life-size, hi-def wall graphics of professional athletes, animated heroes, entertainment characters, team helmets and logos. Growthink was engaged to analyze trends within the market and create the Company’s strategic business plan. Since working with Growthink, Fathead was acquired by a leading conglomerate of sports and entertainment properties.
Neezz.com is a Kuala Lumpur-based social networking business owned by French digital media company Number 10. Neezz is the world’s first real-time social network-based online classified advertising and purchasing platform. During its U.S. pre-launch phase, Neezz sought Growthink’s expertise in digital media monetization in order to refine its business model, user acquisition/retention, and financing strategies. In two months of working with its Growthink team, Neezz reformulated its U.S. entry strategy, created and articulated a product development plan, and documented it in an investor-ready package. Neezz is currently in beta with over 200,000 active ads.
Safari Air is the world’s first carbon-neutral, luxury charter jet service offering flights on a per seat basis. The Company is based in Orange County, California (John Wayne Airport) and offers flight service to destinations such as New York City, Hawaii, and several locations throughout Mexico. Growthink was retained to determine the overall feasibility of the venture by assessing market demand, developing routes which maximize aircraft utilization, and building detailed financial projections, Growthink then developed the Company’s business plan, marketing plan, and financial strategy. Safari Air is poised to take flight in late 2010.
Biddees™ harnesses the power of decreasing price auctions to create a fun, fast and convenient opportunity for customers to buy a wide selection of prepaid cards at a guaranteed discount from face value. Biddees™ auctions prepaid cards issued by national retailers and leading financial service companies such as Amazon, Wal-Mart, Visa and MasterCard. The Company also auctions prepaid cards in categories of goods and services where consumers do not typically receive any discounts such as mobile phone services, sporting and concert tickets, travel, gasoline, groceries and restaurants. Growthink helped the company develop a strategic growth plan and documented it in the company’s business plan. Growthink also developed an investor presentation.
MJW Solutions is an emerging provider of premier healthcare products and equipment. Growthink was retained prior to launch of the Company and played a vital role in creating the Company’s forward-looking financial projections. After working with Growthink, MJW Solutions was able to secure its seed financing and the Company is on pace to exceed over $10 million in revenues within its second year of operation.
HelixWind (OTCBB: HLXW) has developed a portfolio of next generation small-scale wind turbines targeted towards individuals, small businesses, and the telecommunications industry. Growthink evaluated the company’s business model, developed a financing strategy and created an investor package to support that financing. Growthink worked directly with the company CEO and Board of Directors for three months to refine the business model and reposition the company’s story for investors. In early 2009 the company went public through a reverse merger, raised two additional rounds of private capital, and has since acquired a number of other wind turbine and renewable energy companies.
Insectigen produces bio-friendly pesticide additives which were discovered and developed within the University of Georgia Technology Innovation Center. Insectigen’s core technology is a safe and eco-friendly alternative to chemical pesticides. Growthink developed a product commercialization strategy, created investor offering materials, and secured the Company’s series A round in the amount of $5 million.
Cardio Quick Systems
Cardio Quick Systems has a patented, ground-breaking EKG placement technology. Growthink was retained to secure multiple rounds of capital, including over $1 million in receivables financing, $1 million in equity financing, and additional sources of debt. Since working with Growthink, the Company was able to secure a term sheet for credit facilities within 2 weeks and raised over 20% of additional capital within 1 week.
Paramount Parks is an operator of theme parks and attractions, which annually attracts around 13 million patrons. The company engaged Growthink to conduct a feasibility study to assess the validity of expansion into the Japanese market. The services that Growthink provided were as follows: Feasibility study, market research, land acquisition costs, and global expansion assessment.
McKesson Corporation (NYSE: MCK) is the leading provider of supply, information and care management products and services designed to reduce costs and improve quality across healthcare. Growthink assisted McKesson’s specialty marketing division in evaluating the target market and competitive landscape for an existing (10-year old) service platform via a combination of primary and secondary research. Today McKesson generates annual revenues in excess of $50 billion.

Great Places to Work Institute
The Great Place to Work® Institute, Inc. is a consulting and publishing organization best known for its annual “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list. Based in San Francisco, with affiliates around the world, the Institute was struggling to identify methods to diversify and grow its business lines. The Institute came to Growthink for guidance, and engaged Growthink to undertake an in-depth analysis of each of its business units, its organizational structure, its cash flow, and to perform a valuation of the business. Growthink presented a comprehensive restructuring plan which was implemented by executive management.
Hooters of America, Inc. is the Atlanta-based operator and franchiser of over 435 Hooters restaurants in 46 states. Growthink was retained to assist in the development of Hooters’ franchise expansion plan for the island of Guam. During the project, Growthink conducted market research, surveyed the competitive landscape, built a detailed financial model and developed the business plan. Since working with Growthink, Hooters launched operations in Guam and maintains the country’s headquarters in the city of Tamuning.
NEC Corporation is one of the world’s leading providers of Internet, broadband network and enterprise business solutions worldwide. Growthink was retained to perform a feasibility study for NEC to qualify and quantify markets for new biotechnology applications developed in NEC labs.
