ANTHONY ALVAREZ

In his role at Growthink, Anthony is currently responsible for managing client inquiries to determine how the company can best assist with their objectives and identifying client objectives.

Anthony began his career in the financial services sector with Mutual of New York, where he was an associate advising small business owners on retirement and estate planning, business succession and employee benefits. For the next ten years, Anthony went on to work in executive recruitment and human resources where he mastered all levels of candidate screening, sourcing and selection, organizational planning, career development and employee relations.  He held several senior positions within the industry as well as starting his own executive search firm.

Anthony graduated with honors from California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Economics.

LUKE BROWN

With 20 years of sales experience, Luke is able to effectively manage client inquiries and identify client objectives.

Luke was previously the director of client services for Tony Robbins and Chet Holmes at Business Breakthroughs International.  He worked with many types of clients from start-up companies to Fortune 100 firms and was a member of their prestigious Inner Circle for top performers. Prior to this, he was the Vice President of Sales for Proline Industrial, one of the top industrial parts distributors in the United States.  In this role, he was instrumental in helping the company more than double in size.

Luke also has an entrepreneurial background, launching two companies and successfully positioning them for acquisition.

Luke earned a bachelor of science in management from Pepperdine University and holds a certification in Internet marketing from HubSpot’s Inbound Marketing University.  He is an active member of the community, volunteering with Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

YAMINA JORDAN

With extensive experience in business and entrepreneurship, Yamina comes to Growthink with both an understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face in today’s marketplace as well as the knowledge of the techniques that can be utilized to create start-up capital.  In her role, she is responsible for managing client inquiries and identifying client objectives.

Yamina started her career in real estate management at Quality Homes, LLC and she then went on to serve a wide array of clients at Real Estate Investment Trust and Archstone Smith. Thereafter, she transitioned into the entertainment industry where she worked in development for Village Roadshow Pictures and then became the co-owner of 2 Thumbs Up Entertainment.  In her five-year tenure within the industry, she took on many roles including representation, obtaining film distribution for television and home video, marketing, sales, client management and employee training.  She has served as Chairman of Training for the inner city youth outreach at Los Angeles Youth at Work. 

Yamina earned a Bachelor’s degree from Mills College, CA with a concentration in Psychology.

RUSSELL KELLER

Russ Keller, a Growthink Business Consultant, has a dynamic and long background in sales, marketing, management and client relations.  Russ’ expertise is centered on companies in “growth phases”; whereby strategic consulting, partnering and business development is aimed at specific endeavors to break revenue plateaus.  Russ has worked as a facilitator at the Litigation Advisory Board, an industry think tank that provides leadership and guidance for business development within the legal community.  There, he gained the trust and confidence of company’s ranging from small and emerging to the likes of Samsung, Kawasaki, Nike, and Boeing by focusing on the client’s true vision and future business strategies.  He proved himself as a highly regarded colleague by his loyalty, honesty, integrity, and deep industry insight.   His consulting, advising, and instructing business owners and entrepreneurs on creative sales and marketing tactics resulted in a track record of aligning strategically placed partnerships that help drive company growth and revenue.

 Russ has worked with companies at varying stages; from investor backed development stage  to largely held and publicly traded companies, under a wide list of industry verticals including but not limited to Healthcare, Defense, Utilities, Litigation Support, Intellectual Property, Alternative Energy, Oil and Gas, Finance, Information Technology, and Legal.

Russ is an alumnus of Washington State University where he obtained his degree in Political Science with a minor in English.  Interests and activities include snowboarding, basketball, yoga, and the beaches of Southern California.

JANICE MCCORMICK

As a Growthink Business Consultant, Janice McCormick has over twelve years of diverse experience working for startups, launching breakthrough technology solutions, fundraising and grant writing for non-profits, and digital media/advertising and sponsorship sales.  Janice’s most recent work in the non-profit sector was as Development Director for PBS Television documentary special Growing Greener Schools, in partnership with Earth Day, and Business Development for Health Care Without Harm and Practice Greenhealth. Janice has extensive background in working with companies through various stages of financing – including an early-stage financed company to an acquisition target for a major conglomerate.

Janice began her career in online digital media sales, where she joined Macromedia to launch shockwave.com and Atom Films, which was later acquired by Viacom/MTV. She later joined technology start-up NextMedium, Inc., a VC funded start up backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and partnered with Nielsen Media Research, where she successfully launched Embed (TM), platform for entertainment marketing.  Janice's clientele  included Gillette, Siemens Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, Toyota, Mazda, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures and Fox Television Studios, and many more.

Janice earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Illinois State University.

KRISTIN NORTON

Bringing with her two decades of entrepreneurial and business experience, Kristin plays the integral role of managing Growthink client inquiries and identifying client objectives.

Kristin formerly worked in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in sales for patient recruitment in clinical trials.  She was instrumental in targeting the key industry players including Merck, Astra Zeneca and Sanofi-Aventis. Kristin had transitioned from McAfee Security Solutions where she sold software licenses, products and services.

Kristin began her career in the film and television industry, where she took on various roles including project management, graphic design, advertising and sales.  During her tenure within this field, she worked on many high-level motion picture projects for Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney and Universal Studios. Kristin then went on to launch two of her own companies: Tall Girl Creative Representation served as a talent agency representing graphic designers, illustrators and copywriters and Deep Read, a screenplay development agency helped writers edit and develop content for motion picture production companies.

Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Buffalo and a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Temple University.

GREGORY ROSS

As a Growthink Business Consultant, Gregory Ross leverages his wide-bank of experiences in different industries in order to act as a willing accomplice to an entrepreneur as they actualize their dreams of starting and growing their own business.  

Prior to joining Growthink, Greg worked at AccuPOS promoting their customizable Point of Sale software and its integration with mainstream accounting systems in the retail, restaurant, and hospitality industries. At Clarion, a non-profit film fund, Greg produced and distributed documentary films as well as crafted and executed social media strategies. Additionally, Greg responded to all media requests and appeared frequently in print as well as on radio and TV on behalf of the organization. Greg also worked in sales roles at the Wall Street firm of American Stock Transfer & Trust and at Registrar & Transfer Company, where he opened the West Coast office.  Greg worked with Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium sized firms (his first client was a catfish farm in Mississippi!), in order to either help them go public or assist them in managing their existing shareholder base more effectively.

Greg started his career in the music industry at the talent agency Triad Artists booking gigs for clients that included many of the 1990’s Seattle grunge artists and the Lollapalooza tour.

Greg earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Business from the University of Southern California. Greg is a reservist in the Israel Defense Forces and has lived in Mexico City, Jerusalem and New York City before returning to his native Los Angeles. Greg is also fluent in Spanish and Hebrew.

 

 

AARON RUBALOFF

With a successful track record of assisting clients in driving revenue, Aaron brings a strategic sales and marketing background to the Growthink team. His specific areas of expertise include the development of sales and marketing plans and budgets, market research and client management.

During his tenure with Marcus Evans, one of the world's leading providers of business intelligence, he established himself as a trusted partner to his clients through his consultative approach, strong work ethic, deep industry knowledge and extensive professional network. During the discovery process, he strives to gain an accurate understanding of the clients’ critical success factors and long-term business strategies.

Aaron specializes in educating business owners and entrepreneurs on effective marketing and sales strategies. His “no nonsense” methods focus on action supported by proven theories and results. His passion is to help people achieve their business goals by successfully utilizing planning and best practices. He has worked with venture-backed, development stage and high-growth, publicly held companies across a full range of commercial sectors, including Capital Markets, Life Sciences, Defense, Healthcare, Information Technology and Legal.
 

BRET STEWART

Bringing nine years of business and consumer consulting experience, Bret’s focus at Growthink includes the implementation of business consulting and investment banking services for emerging markets as well as established businesses. Bret thrives in Business Plan Development, Financial Modeling, Fundraising, Business Disposition and Ongoing Consultation services.

Prior to joining Growthink, Bret worked in Commercial Real Estate at CB Richard Ellis and in Commercial Lending at US Bank.  Each experience gave him the unique opportunity to advise corporations in a wide array of industries.  Collaborating with corporate executives enabled Bret to maximize their potential and achieve positive results for their strategic initiatives.  Bret has worked with renowned companies including Northrop Grummen, Boeing, Mar Ventures, Newsweek, Atari, Revolution Partners, Healthcare Partners and Tokidoki.

Bret received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of the Pacific.

RALPH STOKES

Ralph brings to Growthink over 20 years of extensive experience and expertise in environmental sciences- to include specifically land utilization, production methodologies, distribution strategies and marketing communications. He has successfully launched and exited numerous enterprises in the agricultural space.

At Growthink, Ralph has successfully helped to develop more than 30 strategies for companies in the consumer products, real estate, acquisition, non-profit development and Healthcare IT sectors.

Prior to joining Growthink, Ralph held positions as a V.P. for a national-recognized logistics and transportation company as well as loan and dept financing duties and was a major growth contributor to a national distribution company based in Los Angeles.

Ralph is actively attending numerous industry organizations including Southern California Technology News and Venture Capital sponsored events, as well as Venture Capital technology council of Sothern California. He is also actively involved in local philanthropic and nonprofit organizations, including the Special Olympics.
